Will CFB 25 add FCS teams? ›

When College Football 25 was announced, EA Sports said all 134 FBS schools would be included, but none of the 129 FCS teams. That changed with Thursday's release of the new Team Builder. Players with a registered EA account can now go to the Team Builder website and upload their own logos to create a team.

EA Sports has announced that all 134 FBS teams will be a part of the game for players to choose from. It means that all 10 FBS conferences will be in the game, including the Power 5 and Group of 5 conferences. The only teams that will not be a part of the game at launch are FCS and HBCU teams.

All 134 FBS teams will appear in the game. EA also made offers to every player on an FBS roster, with over 12,800 players accepting that offer as of May, according to Extra Points. EA initially had a goal of getting 87% of all student-athletes to accept the offer, surpassing that goal by the beginning of March.

HBCUs won't be in the College Football 25 video game, but a song that became a stadium staple in them will be.
